When a Scope of Work is needed for a remediation, we typically
involve the Contractor
Why?
When a Scope of Work is needed we work with you, the Contractor.
Because we have found that reviewing a draft of a Scope of
Work with you frequently results in an improved, more cost
effective approach. The joint review is an opportunity to
discuss the job and address and opportunities and concerns.
Standard
turnaround on samples within 24 hours – reports to follow
We
know time is of the essence, so we have negotiated with our
Lab to provide mold, asbestos, and lead test sample results
back 24 hours from time of submission.
This
means we get the results and can provide a “verbal”
to you. For most jobs, it is critical to get on with the work.
Typically, reports are completed through our 3 step Quality
Assurance system within 2 business days following. If test
reports are needed more rapidly, we can do it.
When
we get Clearance Results, we call you, the Contractor, first
Why?
You, the Contractor, are the first to know. In the case of
passing clearance test, we know you want to move on to put-back.
In case of a failure, we discuss with you the results and
provide guidance. This team approach, get the job gets done
more quickly.
We
are named as additionally insured by the Lab
Why?
Because it protects us all… but fortunately it is not
needed frequently. However, if an interpretation error is
ever made by the Lab, they shoulder the burden… not
you the Contractor or Sherlock.
We
are easy to work with
We
believe you and your team makes every effort to “do
it right the first time” with challenging problems.
Sherlock “does not throw anyone under the Bus.”
We act constructively. Our goal is less “drama,”
more results.
We
refer business
When
closely working with a Contractor that “does a great
job” for our clients, we are pleased to refer business.
We NEVER ACCEPT referral fees. For most contractors, they
refer to us too, which we appreciate. |
